Mary Madison, RN, RAC-CT, CDP, is Director of Clinical Software Support for Creative Solutions Unlimited, Inc. and is a member of the faculty of The Learning Center. She has more than three decades of clinical experience in acute and long-term care, including the positions of Reviewer with the Iowa Foundation for Medical Care, Provider and Client Services Representative (HMO), and Director of Nursing. Since 1998, Madison has worked directly with over half of the long-term care facilities in the state of Iowa as well as facilities in other states. She has developed continuing education programs for administrators, licensed nurses, social workers, department heads, and certified nursing assistants. She participated in the CMS |

| Train-The-Trainers sessions for the MDS 3.0 in March 2010 and has recertified for the MDS 3.0 through AANAC. She has presented MDS 3.0 educational programs to long-term care providers across the United States. Madison is a member of the American Association of Nurse Assessment Coordinators (AANAC) and is a Certified Resident Assessment Coordinator. She is certified by the Iowa Department on Aging as a trainer of Iowa Dependent Adult Abuse for Mandatory Reporters. Madison is a Certified Dementia Practitioner and a member of the National Council of Certified Dementia Practitioners. She serves on the Advisory Board of The Learning Center and uses her expertise in long-term care regulatory compliance to author “Web Watch,” a free Internet based news post service for long-term care professionals. |

Kathryn A. Alden, MA, is President/CEO of Creative Solutions Unlimited, Inc.(CSU), a company founded in 1988 which specializes in clinical documentation software for the long-term care industry. Alden earned a Master's degree in mathematics and has over 25 years experience in data processing and education. Her background includes teaching college programming and data processing courses, designing CEU computer courses for nursing professionals, providing on-site corporate computer training and custom programming, and writing software for managing clinical records and electronic transmittal of the MDS 2.0. Alden actively supports long-term care professional organizations, speaking at conventions and district education. CSU's client base includes 50% of the NF/SNF facilities in Iowa. Alden serves as Director of Education for The Learning Center.

Martha Koch, MA, is Vice President with Creative Solutions Unlimited, Inc. Koch earned her MA from California State University at Los Angeles. Since 1996, she has developed training curricula, written technical documentation, and contributed to the development of software for Creative Solutions Unlimited, Inc. She has presented numerous educational programs on the utilization of the company’s software to healthcare providers in Iowa and across the country. Koch also serves as liaison with corporate clients, vendors, and industry associations and is a member of CSU’s Product Management team.

John Rooney is Manager of Client Services at Creative Solutions Unlimited, Inc. He has worked with over half of the nursing facilities in the state of Iowa, providing installation of new systems, implementation of CSU software, telephone and web-based remote support services, along with troubleshooting Microsoft® networks, computer systems, and peripheral devices. Rooney also assists CSU clients with the addition of vertical modules to the Dextrosity® Suite software such as financials, Point of Care, and custom interfaces to third party systems. |

Nancy Adams, R.N., RAC-CTis a Software Support Coordinator with Creative Solutions Unlimited, Inc. She has fifteen years' experience in long-term healthcare, specializing in assessments, care planning, and clinical documentation. Combined with her expertise are excellent critical thinking and communication skills, making Adams an integral part of CSU's Software Support department since 1998. |
Marilyn Wahlgren is a Financial Product Specialist at Creative Solutions Unlimited, Inc. She provides software support and training to long-term care facilities utilizing integrated clinical and financial software. Wahlgren has 17 years of experience in long-term care business offices and has provided corporate training in multiple states. She has an accounting background and is experienced with Medicare and Medicaid billing. Ms. Wahlgren is also a member of CSU's Product Management team. |
